Trans World Radio offers an unchanging message for a changing world by broadcasting biblically-based programming and providing follow-up to men, women and children globally in more than 200 languages.
How do you help people in my community?
TWR provides broadcasters, national producers, mission organizations, local churches and individuals in North America and around the world the opportunity to team together in the enormous undertaking of producing programming for airing over TWR's station locations. Programs are prayerfully and financially supported by cooperating broadcasters, mission organizations, churches, foundations and individuals.
Why do you need my support?
Radio is not bound by social barriers. It can effectively propagate God's message of love and truth to both cities and villages--making its way into homes and into hearts of those actively searching for peace.
The Word of God via the airwaves can go a long way in satisfying spiritual hunger and emptiness.
Your financial support enables TWR to continue broadcasting biblically based, life-transforming programming to men, women and children in more than 200 languages and dialects worldwide.
How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it?
As a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (www.ecfa.org), Trans World Radio commits to the highest standards of financial accountability. A copy of an audited financial statement is always available upon written request.
Can I Volunteer? How?
In addition to short-term and career service, TWR offers internship opportunities in the United States and abroad. These positions are taken during the summer months, range from 10 to 12 weeks and are usually filled by college students. Previous TWR interns have served in Swaziland, South Africa, Russia and Ukraine, Austria, Italy, and the Netherlands, and their jobs are as varied as the locations: engineering, administrative, information systems, print communications and radio production.
