How do you help people in my community?
During the past year, SOME, with your help, has been able to provide the following services: a.. Meals served to hungry children, women, and men who came to SOME totaled 377,087.
b.. Hungry households to whom food was distributed totaled 225.
c.. Visits by homeless people who came for medical and dental care who could not afford a doctor or dentist totaled 7,139.
d.. Hours of individual and group counseling, case management and aftercare totaled 56,222 and were provided to 1,896 persons.
e.. Meals served to the residents of our rehabilitative programs, our senior centers and our abused elderly shelter totaled 73,952.
f.. Free clothing and showers provided totaled 9,070.
g.. A total of 83,950 permanent housing nights were provided to over 230 homeless children, women and men.
h.. Shelter nights for abused and neglected elderly totaled 2,520.
i.. Transitional housing nights for homeless men and women in rehabilitative programs for drug treatment and job training totaled 20,093.

SOME like other non-profits relies on contributions to maintain its programs. Without your donations of time, talents, items, and funds SOME would be unable to provide services for the most needy in our community. In total SOME receives nearly 70% of its support from private donors like yourself.
