We improve Hispanic health by supporting service providers reaching 14 million Hispanics. We educate and mobilize consumers; promote inclusive, improved research; advocate best practices on diabetes, HIV/AIDS, cancer, mental health, use of technology.

Why do we exist?

The Alliance and its members are dedicated to inform and mobilize consumers; support providers in the delivery of quality care; improve the science base for accurate decision-making; promote appropriate use of technology; and, promote philanthropy.  Together we have deliver caring services to over 14 million people every year, making a daily difference in the lives of Hispanic communities.

What have you accomplished?

  • Assist over 6,500 Hispanic consumers to navigate the health care system through our national bilingual helplines;
  • Mobilize and support a nation wide grass roots effort to inform Hispanic Medicare recipients about the new prescription drug benefit, and delivering one-to-one counseling sessions to over a quarter million Hispanic seniors and adults with disabilities;
  • We saw success in passage of the Patient Navigator Act that will bring promotoras to communities to help guide people through the health system;

How do you help people in my community? Why do you need my support?
How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it? Can I Volunteer? How?
