Martha's Village and Kitchen

A full-service, 245-bed homeless rehabilitation facility serving the Coachella Valley, empowering children, families and adults to rebuild their lives through comprehensive education, healthcare, life-skills and employment programs. Member of Father Joe's Villages.

Why do we exist?

Conceived as a "one-stop" rehabilitation facility, Martha’s Village & Kitchen is modeled after the continuum of care offered at St. Vincent de Paul Village in San Diego, California. On-site programs include housing, case management, counseling, life skills, psychiatric assessment, medical/dental, adult education, job training, employment assistance, and children's services. Martha’s Village & Kitchen offers these comprehensive services to Village residents and less fortunate members within the community.

  • The client success rate is estimated at 65% for single adults and 82% for families, based on statistics kept at Martha’s Village & Kitchen. Success means clients must maintain gainful employment and a permanent residence for at least one year following graduation.

How do you help people in my community? Why do you need my support?
How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it? Can I Volunteer? How?
