The Christian Relief Fund

From Amarillo, TX, administered in third-world countries by missionaries and volunteers, provides international hunger and disaster relief: food, clothing, medical care and Christian education to poverty-stricken children and families.

Why do we exist?

To follow Christ’s example of ministering to human needs physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Because we are a small organization specializing in child sponsorship, we can give more personal attention to our donors and recipients.
Nutritional, educational, medical and spiritual needs. The children of today are the leaders of tomorrow.  Christ placed importance on children, and how we treat them.

What have you accomplished?

Providing food, clothing, education, childcare, and medical assistance to over 4,000 poor children in 28 countries on a regular basis in addition to emergency relief in Malawi, Niger, Sudan, and Uganda, food and medical supplies to hospitals in Romania, and Bibles for Belarus, Tanzania, and Central America.  Tell me the story of someone you’ve helped or some change you’ve brought about.

Shamrajam’s father died in an electrical accident while working for daily wages.  Her mother had no means to feed, clothe or educate Shamrajam and brought her to the Christian Relief Fund Children’s Home in India.  Shamrajam grew up in the CRF home where she had the opportunity to go to school, graduate from nursing school and eventually married.  She writes, “I am doing fine and living happily.  Thank you very much for your love and for supporting me from childhood.”

How do you help people in my community? Why do you need my support?
How can I be sure that you will use my money wisely and won't waste it? Can I Volunteer? How?
