Saving children's lives! Sharing God's love by providing food, clean water, medical care, shelter, clothing, Christian education, vocational training, loving care and emergency relief to needy children around the world.

Why do we exist?

Our theme says it well:  Sharing God's Love...and a Hot Meal...365 days a Year!

God commanded us to care for the poor and needy and to show love and compassion. For over two decades we have been meeting the needs of hundreds of thousands of children around the world. Our feeding centers supply nutritious meals to thousands of children every day, whether in feeding centers in Central America, remote villages in Uganda or Rwanda, homes for handicapped in Kenya, a small island in the middle of vast Lake Nicaragua, a children's home in Mexico, we are there serving nutritious meals to grateful children.

Our wells and water systems provide thousands of thirsty children with clean, disease-free water. CHRF immunizes thousands of children against life-threatening diseases. Although we are often called upon to provide immediate relief in emergency situations, we understand that empowering people to help themselves is the best way to relieve their suffering. We therefore provide education and vocational training to children. For their families, we provide self-help projects, such as on-going assistance in starting small businesses or developing productive farms.
