Fight childhood cancer, diabetes and hunger through medical and food programs, health education and emotional/spiritual support for children in Latin America endangered by disease, poverty, war and natural disaster.
Why do we exist?
Thousands of children worldwide face public disdain, poverty, and cruelty. Our vision is to deliver relief and hope to children around the world endangered by disease poverty, war and natural disaster, especially to youngsters indigenous to the Americas.
ACHF helps fight childhood cancer, diabetes and hunger through medical and food programs and health education. We also support efforts to educate children and create an environment where they feel unconditionally loved… something every child needs. ACHF changes lives, one child at a time.
What have you accomplished?
- In 2005-2007, ACHF shipped well over $13 million of vital medicine, medical equipment and supplies to medical professionals serving impoverished communities all over the world, in countries such as Honduras, El Salvador, Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, the Philippines, and Panama. We placed a special emphasis on fighting AIDS and cancer, strengthening prenatal care, and reducing infant deaths.
- We offer our indigenous partners technical and human resource assistance, including project management strategies and accountability resources, so they can do a better job for the people they serve.
