Here are summaries of what twelve charities that are part of this
website are doing to respond to the cyclone in Burma and the earthquake
in China.
To be on this website, all of these charities must meet the accountability
standards of the federal government's charity drive, the Combined
Federal Campaign.
We have included two links for each charity. The first link is
to the page in its website where it discusses its response to these
tragedies. The second link is to the charity's page in this website.
Here you will find basic information about what the charity does,
the percentage of donations it spends on fundraising and administration,
and its answers to six basic questions, such as "How can I be sure
you will use my money wisely?"
For charities that have a third link, this goes to that charity's
page for collecting donations for their work responding to these
two crises.
You can support each charity's work through its page in our website
by clicking on the "Give Online Now" link. This will take you to
that charity's online donation page. You will be making a donation
directly to the charity. This website receives no part of your
donation.
Thank you for your desire to help.
